Bracken Ridge State School Model Constitution

27/07/2017
At the end of the 2016, Bracken Ridge State School became an Independent Public School. One of the requirements of becoming an Independent Public School is to form a School Advisory Council. The first step towards developing the School Advisory Council is to adopt a Draft Constitution. The draft constitution must be approved via secret ballot process by the P&C in a special meeting called by the P&C president, and school staff in a staff meeting called by the principal. As the model constitution has already been approved by the Director-General delegate, if the school council’s draft constitution does not vary from the model constitution, no further approval is required.   Bracken Ridge State School’s Model Constitution will not be varying from the model constitution.
A special meeting to vote on the model constitution has been called by the P&C President, Linda Wease to take place before the P&C General meeting at 7 pm on Wednesday August 30 , 2017.
