Student services and support programs

School Chaplain

The chaplain’s primary role is to provide pastoral care for the students, staff and families of our school community. As a non-teaching staff member, the chaplain operates as a support person for the children to connect with in the school environment.

Chaplains provide a listening ear, caring presence and message of hope as students seek to deal with a wide range of issues such as family problems, friendship issues peer pressure, self-esteem issues and self-control.

The chaplaincy service operates lunchtime activities, special events such as Chappy breakfasts, one-to-one appointments with students and personal development programmes and support for families including Girls with Big Dreams Program.
